GNI Providing Neurology and Neurosurgery Services at Holy Redeemer Hospital

Holy Redeemer Hospital and Global Neurosciences Institute (GNI) have entered into a clinical partnership to provide innovative, state-of-the-art care for patients in our community. With offices located in the MOB at the Meadowbrook campus, GNI’s highly trained neurosurgeons and subspecialty neurologists will provide patients with access to comprehensive neurosciences care at a location convenient to them.

The agreement between GNI and Holy Redeemer provides neurology and neurosurgical coverage on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis. GNI stroke specialists will work collaboratively with Emergency Medicine Physicians to ensure that patients receive appropriate stroke care in an expeditious manner at Redeemer’s certified primary stroke center.

Dr. Hank Unger, Chief Medical Officer and Emergency Medicine Physician at Redeemer notes, “Our relationship with GNI will provide our patients with a vast array of treatment options and specialized care for neurologic diseases. We are excited to be working with the GNI team and anticipate making their expertise and services available at several of our ambulatory sites.”

GNI-affiliated physicians provide specialized neurological care in many areas including Parkinson’s Disease/Movement Disorders, Alzheimer’s Disease/Cognitive Disorders, and Epilepsy/Seizure disorders. Their nationally recognized neurosurgical specialists address complex brain and spine conditions and are established leaders in the high tech field of minimally invasive, neuro-endovascular procedures.

“We are proud to be a part of this innovative clinical partnership. Our model for holistic, collaborative, patient-centered care aligns with Holy Redeemer’s steadfast dedication to providing an exceptional patient experience,” says Dr. Erol Veznedaroglu, MD, FACS, FAANS, FAHA, Chairman of GNI.
