A sonolucent burr hole cover from Longeviti Neuro Solutions makes ultrasound follow-up possible in the office for patients with hydrocephalus.

Global Neurosciences Institute (GNI) is among the first to bring the 14mm ClearFit® Ti Ring from Longeviti Neuro Solutions to patients with hydrocephalus. This week marked the first implantation of the 14mm ClearFit Ti Ring for hydrocephalus.

ClearFit is an ultrasound-penetrable cranial implant. Placed during shunt surgery, it lets the care team look inside with a simple ultrasound at the bedside or in the office, giving patients and families quick answers at follow-up visits.
